Teaching Artists

Teaching Faculty Application

Artistry contracts with more than 80 teaching artists each year to lead a variety of classes, workshops, and day camps for youth and adults in the visual and performing arts. In keeping with our mission, we strive to welcome and nurture the talent of students and teaching artists alike. Our teaching artist corps is a mix of newcomers and longstanding Artistry instructors.

We welcome proposals from visual and performing artists who seek to teach children and/or adults. Our most common formats are six-week classes, single and multi-day workshops, and five-day youth summer camps. Interested artists should send a letter of intent, resume or curriculum vitae, and proposed class description(s) to Director of Education Leah Hughes at
