Artistry's Clay Studio Manager, Chris Singewald, has been selected to attend and assist with Haystack Mountain School of Crafts' Open Studio Residency. He is in Deer Isle, Maine through the first week of June. As if that weren't exciting enough, he has also been awarded the Fogelberg Studio Fellowship, a part of Northern Clay Center’s Emerging Artist Fellowship Program. NCC’s program is “designed to provide emerging ceramic artists an opportunity to be in residence for one year at NCC. Between September 1, 2019 and August 31, 2020 the residents will have the opportunity to develop their work while exchanging ideas and knowledge with a dynamic network of ceramic artists.” Find out more about the Emerging Artist Fellowship Program here.
We are extremely fortunate to have Chris at the helm of our clay program - it’s safe to say our wonderful studio space is in (more than) capable hands! Congrats, Chris!
