Artistry

Classes & Workshops

Artistry offers classes and workshops at the beautiful Bloomington Center for the Arts for adults and youth of all abilities - from beginners to experienced students - in clay, painting and drawing, fused glass, and much more. Business of Art classes provide information on career development, finance, marketing, and other topics relevant to practicing artists, and Affiliated Arts workshops offer students the chance to try a medium outside the traditional scope of fine arts. All of our classes and workshops are led by skilled professionals with subject matter expertise and a commitment to each student's development. INTRODUCING CLAY FOR A DAY AND CLAY NIGHTS

Artistry also welcomes adults to schedule two-hour clay experiences with us. We're now offering our Clay for a Day workshop and Clay Nights on a open-scheduling basis. Get a group together and schedule at your convenience (just give us at least two weeks' notice). We'll work with you to arrange a good time for your group and we'll set you up with an experienced instructor for your clay experience. Different from a basic art party*, we offer two-hour experiences on the wheel for completion of two pieces (including choice between underglaze decoration or selection from three glaze options) per person for group sizes between 4 and 12 people.. See below for pricing details, and just call Sarah at 952-563-8571 when you're ready to book. Pieces will be ready for pick-up around 3 weeks after the clay experience date.

4 participants: $250 total
5-6 participants: $350 total
7-9 participants: $450 total
10-12 participants: $600 total

*Clay parties within our Art Party program include one finished (clear-glazed) piece and 75 minutes of art time paired with 45 minutes of free time in a separate studio.
