Employment Opportunities at Artistry
Executive Director Search
As announced in December 2018, Artistry Executive Director & Chief Advancement Officer Andrea Specht has decided to leave her post by the end of the organization’s fiscal year on June 30, 2019. Andrea shared her decision with the Artistry Board of Directors in November, noting that after nine years of leading significant artistic and financial growth, it is the right time for her to seek a new set of professional challenges and for Artistry to benefit from a new leader’s ideas and energy. For more information about our leadership transition, please read the December 11, 2018 statement.
The search for Artistry’s next executive director is now underway. For more information and contact information, please view the position posting.
Artistry contracts with more than 80 teaching artists each year to lead a variety of classes, workshops, and day camps for youth and adults in the visual and performing arts. In keeping with our mission, we strive to welcome and nurture the talent of students and teaching artists alike. Our teaching artist corps is a mix of newcomers and longstanding Artistry instructors.
We welcome proposals from visual and performing artists who seek to teach children and/or adults. Our most common formats are six-week classes, single and multi-day workshops, and five-day youth summer camps.
Please see application instructions on the Teaching Faculty Application.
