The 366-seat, proscenium-style Schneider Theater is located in the Bloomington Center for the Arts. If you require wheelchair seating or other accessible seating arrangements, please let our customer service staff know at the time you purchase your tickets. Theater doors open 30 minutes before the performance start time.

Special Pricing

TICKETED PREVIEWS $20  The ticketed preview takes place one night before opening night, giving actors a chance to see how the show is working for the audience and to further hone their performances. Schneider Theater tickets cost $20 and will go on sale with all single tickets on May 13. You may purchase them online, by phone, or in person at our box office.

PAY WHAT YOU CAN PERFORMANCES To help make the arts accessible for all, we offer a Pay What You Can Performance (PWYC) for every Artistry production. Half of the available PWYC tickets are available for purchase in advance. Advance tickets may be purchased for $10 and up in advance. The remaining half are reserved for purchase starting at 6:30 p.m., in person, on the evening of the performance. "Night-of" tickets may be purchased for $1 and up.      

GROUP RATES  Groups of 15 or more receive specially priced tickets. Please contact the Box Office for more information.

EXCHANGES  All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Season ticket holders may exchange tickets for another performance of the same show (subject to availability). Please call the Box Office for more information.

Concessions and Beverage Services

Concessions and bottled water are available for purchase in the lobby one hour before and during the intermission of every Artistry performance.

In addition, beer, wine, and soft drinks are available for purchase one hour before and during the intermission of every Artistry performance in the Schneider Theater, with the exception of matinees.

Please note that food and beverages are prohibited inside the theaters, with the exception of bottled water.

AccessIbility Services

Assisted listening devices are available at no charge for every Artistry performance in the Schneider Theater.

Wheelchair Accessibility exists throughout the theaters and the Bloomington Center for the Arts, and wheelchair seating is available for every performance. Please request this seating and let us know about any other accessibility needs when purchasing your tickets. Large-type, Braille, and other Alternate Format program information is available with two weeks advance notice.
