Artistry is pleased to present the biennial exhibition, “Art in the Home.” Diverging from a typical exhibition, the Inez Greenberg Gallery will be transformed into five separate rooms decorated by local interior designers using hand-crafted furniture and home accessories by some of the region's most talented artisans. Guest curator and top designer Lisa Peck, ASID selected the group of interior designers who will compete to win over the gallery visitors for the Popular Choice Award and $500 cash prize.

Related events include the City of Bloomington’s Home Improvement Fair (and Mini-Art Mart) on February 24 as well as a Panel Discussion on March 27 where Ms. Peck and the participating designers will discuss some basic interior design tips as well as how to incorporate original art and hand-crafted furnishings into your décor.

About the Curator:
As the Owner and Principal Designer of Minneapolis based LiLu Interiors, Inc. Lisa Peck is dedicated to creating environments that authentically represents her clients’ lifestyles and needs. With more than 20 years of experience in residential and commercial design Ms. Peck has collaborated with a host of people on a variety of projects that span the gamut of style. She is an expert at working within three-dimensional space, identifying hard materials and mixing them with textures and patterns and her mastery of color has earned her the nickname “Color Queen”.  In addition to serving as President and Past-President of the Minnesota Chapter of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) from 2011 – 2015, Ms. Peck has also been awarded a Designer of Distinction (2015), recognized in Mpls/St. Paul’s Business Journal’s “50 Women in Business” (2013), and as an “Emerging Woman Business Owner of the Year” in 2012.
