The goal of Hometown Poetry is to celebrate art and literature and integrate it into our communities, highlight the talent of Bloomington writers, and bring a sense of surprise, delight, and contemplation to pedestrians.

As part of the City of Bloomington’s neighborhood focus initiative and Creative Placemaking efforts, 14 poems will be stamped into new sidewalks and on display in parks. Projects are currently being fabricated. Once finalizing when and where projects will be installed, the city will share that information on their website.
