DESCRIPTION:
Explore the playful side of glass art with Puddle Plates! In this hands-on class, you’ll experiment with stacking and compressing glass in the kiln to create a collection of beautifully unique, colorful “puddles.” Along the way, you’ll learn about firing schedules, glass compatibility, reactions, and the basics of color theory. We’ll work with 90 COE glass and slumping molds provided by Artistry to help you shape your creation. By the end of the four-week class you’ll have a whimsical, one-of-a-kind plate, bowl, or serving platter — perfect for entertaining or as a vibrant addition to your home.

DESCRIPTION:
Discover the beauty of glass art as you create your very own Glacier Bowl! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of glass fusing — including compatibility, firing schedules, full fusing and slumping — along with essential cutting techniques like circle and strip cutting. We’ll be working with 96 COE glass and a stainless steel draping mold to craft a stunning piece that’s both decorative and functional. On the first day, we’ll meet at a local glass shop so you can personally select the glass for your project.
