Creative Junk Journaling!

Turn your overflowing paper collection into chunky, fun-to-work-in books! We will first spend time painting and stamping on paper to make some unique pages for our books. Next, we’ll collect our papers and bind them together using repurposed cardboard food boxes, kraft envelopes or old books for the covers. Finally, we’ll spend time learning fun, playful and relaxing ways to work in our junk journals. These books are not meant to be perfect but instead will become a visual cornucopia of inspiration beckoning you to play in them with creative abandon.

  • Week 1 - Creating painted and stamped pages

  • Week 2 - Binding our books

Handmade Stamp Workshop

Make your very own handmade stamp at the July Artistry drop-in workshop! Using simple materials, you’ll learn how to quickly make a stamp using your own design or one you trace from a template. Stamps can be used for art journaling, decorating mailing projects (such as letters, postcards and cards), adding a handmade touch to gift wrapping, custom fabric designs and so much more. This easy process is a lot of fun and once you get started, you won’t want to stop!
