April 17 - June 14, 2026
Opening Reception and Artist Talk: April 25th 2pm-4pm
Artistry presents Looking Out, a captivating solo exhibition in the Confluence Gallery by wildlife and landscape artist Paul Macharia. Known for realistic acrylic and watercolor paintings, Macharia draws inspiration from their youth in Kenya and the native wildlife they encountered there. This new body of work turns a keen eye closer to home, celebrating the animals of Minnesota—creatures observed from the window, in local parks, and at the zoo. Through vivid depictions of movement and fleeting moments in nature, Looking Out invites viewers to experience the thrill of a safari while discovering the beauty of the wildlife just outside their door.
