Equity General Auditions: 2027 Season
Artistry Theater and Visual Arts in Bloomington, MN is seeking talent for our upcoming 2027 season. Excellence in the arts thrives on a wide range of perspectives and broad community participation. We are committed to ensuring our creative and decision-making processes are fully accessible, welcoming, and open to all individuals.
The 2027 season will feature two contemporary plays and two musicals.
EQUITY AUDITION DATES:
Auditions: Monday, August 31st, 2025 12 pm–8 pm
Auditions: Tuesday, September 1st, 2025 12 pm–8 pm
Location:
All auditions take place at Artistry’s rehearsal studio, not the main theater building.

What to Prepare:
Your total audition time must not exceed 3 minutes. Please prepare:
Monologue: 30 to 90 seconds, contemporary, of your choice.
Song: 32 bars of your choice.
An accompanist will be provided.

Please note that Artistry is only accepting in-person auditions at this time. Virtual submissions will not be reviewed. Auditions for youth actors and general auditions for Non-Equity actors will be held separately. Callbacks for specific productions will also be scheduled later.
Contract and Schedule Details
Artistry operates under the Small Professional Theater (Tier 4) agreement with Actor’s Equity Association.
Equity Contracts: $511 minimum per week
Rehearsal Schedule: Maximum of 30 hours per week. Rehearsals may include afternoons, evenings, and weekends. All rates are fixed and non-negotiable.
