DESCRIPTION:
In this class, you’ll learn to draw using traditional methods, starting with the very basics—like how to hold a pencil—and progressing through core concepts such as design, perspective, and a logical approach to drawing fundamentals. You'll also learn techniques for drawing the human figure with clarity and structure. Throughout the course, you’ll receive constructive critiques and take part in discussions about Art History and artistic expression. We’ll look at slides of drawings from across history, with a focus on how those works relate directly to the techniques and ideas we explore in class.
