ABOUT THE EXHIBIT
In the presentation, my intention is to present an imaginary narrative combining historic and contemporary events with some good humor. This is not a manifesto, but a personal interpretation, sometimes a confluence, of intriguing events, places, eras, and beliefs in human history; the term “chronicled anthropology” brings awareness to humanity as a subject within time and space. It is presented as a vehicle for the spectators, who will draw their own conclusions.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
After studying architecture in Mexico, Eduardo graduated from the University of Minnesota with art and anthropology degrees. Over forty-five years, he was an architectural designer and drafter in Minneapolis. In his pastime, he pursued model railroad layout and design, emphasizing a mid-20th century environment similar to the borderlands between the copper mining area of Arizona and Sonora, MX. For the last seven years, his artistic production has created over 200 paintings, sculptures and drawings, drawing upon his interest and knowledge in history, mythology, faith, religion, and anthropology.
