Artistry is thrilled to announce the forthcoming exhibition, "An Anthological Journey: The Art of Luis Fitch," which will feature the extraordinary works of Mexican artist Luis Fitch from 2014 to 2024.

Luis Fitch is widely recognized for his vibrant and thought-provoking artistic expressions that encapsulate Mexico's rich cultural tapestry. His diverse body of work spans various mediums, including painting, wheat paste, stencil, and urban art, each piece offering a unique insight into the artist's exploration of identity, migration, and social justice.
This art exhibition will provide a comprehensive overview of Fitch's artistic evolution, showcasing significant milestones in his career and highlighting the thematic consistency that underscores his creative vision. From his early explorations of Mexican folklore remixes to his poignant reflections on contemporary social issues, this exhibition will offer visitors a captivating glimpse into the multifaceted vision of Luis Fitch.
The exhibition will feature a curated selection of Fitch's most iconic past exhibitions, including "Love/Hate," a series about the political divisions in the United States and
"Dead Serious" concerns the crucial issues facing the planet and preserving the environment. Additionally, visitors can view exclusive new works created specifically for this exhibition.
In addition to the exhibition, Luis Fitch is pleased to announce three free bilingual workshops for the whole family, offering participants the opportunity to learn the traditional Mexican art of papel picado. These workshops will provide hands-on instruction in the intricate techniques of papel picado, allowing participants to create vibrant designs inspired by Fitch's work.

ABOUT LUIS FITCH
An internationally renowned Mexican artist, mentor, and creative entrepreneur specializing in visual art and working across gallery and urban art settings. His artistic repertoire encompasses various mediums, including screen prints, stencils, stickers, masking film illustrations, wheat paste, collages, sculptures, posters, paintings, and murals.
Luis's artwork has garnered widespread recognition both nationally and internationally. His art pieces are featured in over 380 private and institutional collections throughout the United States, Europe, Dubai, Mexico, and Latin America, including prestigious institutions such as the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York, the Minneapolis Institute of Art in Minneapolis, the Minnesota History Museum in Saint Paul, the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago, The City of Albuquerque, National Hispanic Cultural Center, and the Tamarind Institute.

Notably, he was commissioned to illustrate four stamps for the United States Postal Service, a testament to the profound impact of his artistry on a national scale. Additionally, Luis crafted the first-ever art collection by a Mexican artist for Target stores, commemorating the revered Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) tradition. His involvement as the Commission Chair of the State Flag and Emblem Redesign, appointed by the Minnesota Council on Latino Affairs, further exemplifies his dedication to shaping cultural narratives.
